Discover Vlora — Where Two Seas Meet
A full-day adventure from Tirana that combines the drive to Albania's most celebrated coastal city with an unforgettable sea journey aboard the AQUAMARINE — a modern vessel that departs every day at 09:50 from the Port of Vlora into the protected Karaburun-Sazan Marine Park.
Vlora is one of Albania's most historically significant cities — it was here, on 28 November 1912, that Albania declared its independence from the Ottoman Empire. The city sits at the meeting point of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, with the wild Karaburun Peninsula to the west and the Albanian Riviera stretching south.
The boat tour visits the Cave of Haxhi Alice (viewable from outside when weather allows), the beaches of the Karaburun coast, and passes the military island of Sazan — Albania's largest island and a strategically important point at the entrance to the Bay of Vlora where the Adriatic meets the Ionian. The AQUAMARINE is equipped with a bar-restaurant on board.
