I travelled to Albania between 14/6-23/6 from Dubai with my daughter and chose this company from very positive Google reviews. I was very happy with Kliton's professionalism & service. He was very prompt in his communication and very very flexible with my ever-changing plans due to my finding out one more interesting thing to see.

Once we even had to reduce one day in Vlore after reaching the hotel (because of rains playing spoilsport in our Karaburun boat trip) and he altered our plan then and there by adding a night in Gjirokaster to make up for lost time. The hotel he recommended there was the best (location and ambience) we have had in our Albania trip. I changed my Tirana hotel and booked one that he recommended, and once again it was super value for money and had  a fantastic location due to his long experience in this industry.

Contrary to what I had read about the notorious "Albanian time," he was ALWAYS punctual. It was us who delayed him. He made us feel very safe and also rescued us in a dire situation when our car had a tyre puncture in an extremely remote place, with not one human in sight. He kept assuring us that he will ensure that we reach our destination well within time.

Sure enough, help came and we were back on our way. Kliton really is a very good problem solver. It was a very very tiring day for him, both mentally and physically, but he had a constant smile on his face. He even stopped on his own at nice viewpoints without rushing us to the hotel. He could have done that as it was really a very long day for us as we lost about 2 hours.

What I appreciated most is his directness. No sugar coating or false promises. He told us in the beginning that he isn't a hiking guide (I had also told him at the start that we weren't serious hikers) & also jokingly told us he isn't so fond of historic ruins where there isn't much to see. However he took us to all them and asked us later whether we likes them! 😂

A lot of times, he was right when he said there isn't much to see at a particular site but sometimes we liked what we saw, despite there being little to see. 😄 However, he can arrange guides for serious hikers or history/ archaeology buffs if that's what you are looking for. Just communicate that clearly. He has many other guides working for him who have different kinds of expertise. Overall we returned home with lively memories of Albania. Please do visit this beautiful country.
